With infectious and high production riffs, 2*Sweet may have something here. It almost feels like you took a punk band like Bodyjar and turned them into The Used (without Bert's pretentious shouts). They take so many different directions with their music and that is one of the main reasons I started to like "Sleep Without Dreams," because you can't tell where the guitars and tempo are going, they surprise almost every time. There is also a level of theatrics in the songs that comes off funny and will remind you of the antics of Cobra Starship.

   The vocals are a little hum drum at times and if they were a car, they would be scrapping parked cars as they drive down the busy city streets. It's kind of like Millencolin’s throat amplified singing, which is ok in the right doses. By the end of the record I was still surprised by the amount of effort and thought that went into the effort. The addition of background effects, the unpredictable natured guitars, the overall attitude, and specifically the mass amounts of different styles of music that fill this CD's space, are all reasons to take notice.
