| Intriguing yet strange, A Wilhelm Scream’s newest studio album is that of profanity and horses. Titles that are generally eye pleasing their hardcore music is pleasing to the ears. Welcome to “Career Suicide”
The most interesting song titles include “I Wipe My Ass with Showbiz” “Get Mad, You Son of a Bitch!” and “Jaws 3, People 0.” The first of those three contains much profanity and a very fast tempo. If there is a message hidden in this song, we are all definitely missing it by getting caught up in a hardcore moment. The first lines in “Jaws 3, People 0” is ‘Lets get the fuck out of here.’ Can you tell me how many songs you own or have illegally downloaded (for all you thieves) that start out with such attitude?
Every songs brings the most with each instrument. While pounding the hell out of the drums, the bass is strummed until fingers bleed, and guitar strings are raped until they are worn, and even vocal chords are shredded into thousands of pieces. However, there is one exception to all of this, and that is “The Horse.” An exceptionally well presented song with the same hard core essence but with a little bit of main stream vocals added giving it the perfect balance to be named my favorite song.
Just know when purchasing this album you will be punched in the face, not once, not twice, but several times. C’mon all you jockey’s, get on your horse and ride down to the store proud to purchase “Career Suicide.”
