| Fat Wreck Chords are known for various artists of the punk genre. American Steel is not an exception to this trend. Going way back when to 1996 they still bring the same punkish traits as they did. Having released six previous albums “Destroy Their Future” is what some would call, lucky number seven.
The first three tracks hit hard on heavy punk rock riffs bringing the same old feeling the rest of American Steel. “Smile on Me” changes the theme and sets a pace for the song after that titled “Razorblades” and track number seven “To the Sea.”
The majority of the album is pretty self explanatory if your a fan of American Steel. The songs were written to stay true to their fans The songs were written no in experiment to try and grab a new audience but for their previous audience to purchase and enjoy.
Chances are this group of very distinguished punk rockers are headed towards the end of the battlefield and this could be one of their last releases. True fans owe it to them to pay respect to buy the album.
