Green Lizard's "Les Armas Del Silencio" draws influences from Hard-Rock and what seems like early Grunge Rock. Instead of completely biting from their sound, they manage to make it their own. The beginning of the album does a great job drawing you in with its attractive sound. “All You Have” - their strongest song - has great drumming work and vocal opening instantly making it a single contender.

“Save Ourselves” is another memorable song with a lot of great transitions from verse, bridge, and chorus. You also have to give them credit for their little breakdown at about 1:30 minutes into the song. I’m also a huge fan of songs that continue into the next track, which is what "Walk Over Water" does right into “Fight When The End Comes”. The album keeps the pace up from beginning to end and only slows down for “Changes” and “Bullets Are For Everyone”. Luckily, these songs aren’t completely slowed down in comparison to the rest of the album and aren’t boring at all.

Les Armas Del Silencio is a valiant album packed with potential singles, so much so that it would be tough to choose one. What makes the album more appealing is the fact that the songs are short in time. That sounds like a weird characteristic to be happy about, but it’s nice to have an album without drawn out songs. If Green Lizard plays their cards right they will see success in the near future. Hopefully their label can market them or this album gets re-released on an even bigger label. Either way, I don’t think it will be too hard to keep this band under wraps for long.
