How has playing on The Taste Of Chaos tour been thus far for you guys?
>It’s been amazing, we are out here everyday with some great people and some great bands. There are always a lot of kids out there going crazy, its a load of fun every night.
How did it feel selling so many albums in your first week alone?
>Its impossible to put into words. We talked about it and were hoping for maybe 10-15 k in the first week. Then we get this call and its like you guys sold 16 k, were all like what? Your kidding that’s what we set just for the week. So its been just awe inspiring.
How has Capitol treated you since signing with them, and what was it about them that made you decide to sign on with them
and their label?
>We actually aren’t on capitol anymore, we are essentially on virgin after they bought capitol, its different we have had such a strong relationship with these people around us and now we have to learn how to do things all over again with different people.
With this being the first album that you've ever worked actually worked with a producer, how was it working with producer
Howard Benson?
>It is was it is, like with every relationship your going to butt heads over things and things wont always go as planned, but hes a great guy and obviously did something right on our new album
What can we expect in the future for Saosin?
>We are hoping to continue touring, maybe some smaller club tours with us headlining and we will start working on some new songs hopefully get into a studio late next year to put them down.
What is the craziest thing to happen to you guys while being on the road?
>Nothing that crazy has happened on tour, on something like this its so exhausting its like going through the motions you know, so sorry, but yea were boring, I wish I could tell you some crazy story but were boring people.
If we were to look in your cd player right now, what cd would we find?
>Umm I change my music a lot, right now its a lot of Louis Armstrong, I like to listen to stuff other than harder rock or what we sound like, just so when we go out and play or are recording its still new to me, I don’t wanna burn myself out ya know.
If Rocky from "Rock 1", were to fight Rocky from "Rocky Balboa", who would win?
>AHHH….thats a tough one. They both lost to the champ, but if I had to pick, Id say Rocky from Balboa. I mean he has got that old guy fight, trying to prove hes still got it. He can take a punch though, hes been around and could take a couple to the jaw and still be standing.
Is there anything else you'd like to add for the readers?
>Thanks for listening, keep supporting us, we love you and will keep producing quality stuff for you guys.
