The Junior Varsity - Dirtfest Interview
So what are your thoughts about Dirtfest?
>It's really spread out and laid back, we have lots of friends here but it
almost seems like too big of an area. I would say it's like Warped but 1/10 the size.
How do you think your guys' set went?
>I'd say we had a really good set, there were a lot of kids out for us, so it was fun.
Were there any problems with your set or the festival in general?
>Well, this morning things were a bit behind, and some of the bands played later then
they were scheduled, but nothing major.
Aside from today, how has tour been going for you guys?
>Well we just finished up Warped not too long ago, and now we're getting ready to
go back into the writing process for a new album.
Oh really? what are the plans with that?
>Well right now, we have 12 songs we're working on, and we're staying in our new house
in Springfield, IL to work on the album and get it complete. We're still playing local shows
around here on the weekends, but we won't probably be back out on the road until after we've finished
the new album.
word, how have CD sales been with the Reissue and DVD?
>The sales have been ok, it was mostly for core fans and it recieved less promo, for being a reissue.
Well I think that wraps things up for us at Skylinepress.net Good luck with writing the new material.
