Versus The Mirror - Interview

First off, Congratulations on your Full Length, I enjoyed it very much. How's it feel to have that finally finished and out of the way?

>It's an amazing feeling to have the album out. We couldn't be happier. We are ready to start working our asses off to get it out to kids all over the world. It's the best feeling ever.

How long did the album take to put together?

>The album was written over a 8 month span and it took close to 2 months to record and finish.

Are you guys satisfied with the way it turned out?

>Very happy. Our producer pushed us to do our best and sonically, it beats anything out there today. We wanted to take a different approach on the recording and everything worked out.

Wheres the album title, Home come from?

>Read the back tray of our CD and you will have a good idea of what it means to us. I can't really explain it for the band because we all have different answers but it's a powerful word.

Any tracks you wish could've made the album but didn't?

>There's a b-side we didn't have a chance to record but we will re-do sometime soon.

If, so any chance we could see those in the near future?

>Maybe!

What's your favorite song to play live?

>Birthed By Architecture is my favorite.

What have you guys been listening to lately?

>I have been listening to The Perishers, Cave In, Penfold, The Miracle Of 86, Mineral. You will get a different answer from everyone.

What kind of things keep you busy when you aren't playing music?

>Driving to venues. Sleeping. Phone Calls. Reading. Watching Movies. Daydreaming.

Whats the one thing you and the band cant live without on the road?

>Good Hygiene. I would go crazy if we couldn't shower for more than a few days.

Whats the craziest thing a fans done for you guys?

>Baked us cookies and/or buy us food.

Whats your favorite place to eat on the road?

>Anything but fast food.

On a more serious note, for people who havent heard your band, how would you describe yourselves?

>Melodic, Intense, passionate.

What do you think seperates Versus The Mirror from other bands? What can you offer that other bands cant?

>I don't want to say that we are separated from other bands because I don't want to disrespect people but we just play honest music with an extreme intensity.

What do you want your fans to come away with?

>A good feeling about music.
